UWISON Polo

This is the official Uniform for The University of the West Indies School of Nursing Mona students and the Western Jamaica Campus students . When wearing these shirts, students get a feeling of belonging to the UWISON institution and reflects that everyone at UWISON has similar goals. The UWISON logo is (embroidered) to the polo shirt.

The polo shirt otherwise known as collared T-shirt is just that; a shirt with a collar, a placket neckline with typically three or four buttons, and a breast pocket. Polo shirts are short-sleeved pullover shirts that are knitted with cotton and other soft materials. It is a comfortable sports-casual attire that is worn by both men and women. They can be paired with jeans pants or skirts and are convenient to the owner because of how easy polo shirts are to wear and to clean.

Wearing this type of uniform as students, is a great way to represent the atmosphere of comradery that exists at UWISON. It. These shirts are advantageous in that they are fitting for our country’s hot climate. They are cool and spacious enough to keep you comfortable throughout each day.
